COVID-19

Please confirm the new information concerning COVID-19.

Vaccination certificate

A Vaccination Passport provides official proof that the recipient has been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
It is issued to those who received the vaccination using Okinawa City's vaccination coupon and plan to travel abroad.
*Does not apply to those who have been vaccinated outside Japan (including those on U.S. bases).
*In Japan, one can prove one's vaccination status with a vaccination certificate or vaccination record.

*Please print out the form yourself and paste the address in the box on the envelope and send it to us.

App for COVID-19 vaccination certificate

An electronic vaccination certificate can be obtained using one's My Number Card and a smartphone.

Firefighting/Emergency/Police

Dial 119

Dial 119 in case of sickness, injury, or fire. State whether there is a fire or emergency.
Describe where an ambulance can come to in the case of sickness.
Describe the location in the case of a fire. State your name and telephone number.

Dial 110

Dial 110 in case of an accident or incident. State whether you are reporting an accident or incident.
Describe when, where, and what happened, and whether anyone has been injured or not. State your name and telephone number.

Unexploded ordinance

Unexploded ordinance refers to bombs dropped in the war, etc. that failed to explode. They may still explode if subjected to a shock. If an unexploded bomb is found, do not attempt to touch or move it, but please report the details as follows.
If discovered onshore: Contact the nearest police station or police box (Dial 110)
If discovered in the sea: Contact the Nakagusuku Coastguard TEL: 098-938-7118
In the event that an unexploded ordnance is disposed of nearby, the local populace will be notified as follows in advance.
